We attended the largest PV conference, EU PVSEC in Amsterdamu, in two roles: as active participants in the scientific part as well as an exhibitor at the parallel fair.

Defense of the PhD Thesis

PhD student Milan Kovačič defended his PhD thesis entitled Design and optimisation of advanced photonic structures for thin-film optoelectronic devices by means of optical modelling on 22nd of September at 1:00 PM in Diploma room at Faculty of Electrical Engineering.
Student Award at EU PVSEC 2017

The largest international photovoltaic conference EU PVSEC 2017 will be held in Amsterdam in September. A PhD student Rok Kimovec will represent Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Laboratory of Photovoltaics and Optoelectronics. His work entitled Multi-Segment Photovoltaic Laser Power Converters and Their Electrical Losses won the prestigious EU PVSEC Student award.

IEEE PVSC 44 Conference

Members of LPVO will attend the 44th IEEE Photovoltaic Specialist Conference (PVSC) with the following talks:

At the closing session of this year’s conference, Prof. Dr. Marko Topič was confirmed vice-chair of 7th world photovoltaic conference (WCPEC7).

Defense of the PhD Thesis

PhD student Marko Jošt defended his PhD thesis entitled Fabrication and Characterization of Nanotextures for Light Management in Photovoltaic and Optoelectronic Devices on 21st of June at 10:00 AM in Diploma room at Faculty of Electrical Engineering.
Dr. Marko Jošt received his PhD from University of Ljubljana as well as from Technische Universität Berlin, where he was also awarded with highest honor summa cum laude. Congratulations!
