Laboratory of Photovoltaics and Optoelectronics kindly invites you to the series of lectures which will be given by Prof. Dr. Joao Pedro Conde fromInstituto Superior Tecnico, University of Lisbon. The topic of the lectures is on-chip biosensing. The lectures will be a part of the Optoelectronics and Photovoltaics PhD course.

On Thursday, 21. 5.:

• 10:00 – 12:00 in room P9 – Introduction to lab-on-chip biosensing with integrated optical transduction
• 13:00 – 16:00 in room  P11
  • Lab-on-chip detection of biomolecules with integrated optical sensors – the highlights
  • Quantitative analysis of a microfluidic system with integrated photonic sensors – Case study I: detection of biomarkers for biomedical applications

On Friday, 22. 5.:

• 10:00 – 12:00 in room  P12 – Quantitative analysis of a microfluidic system with integrated photonic sensors – 
  • Case study II: detection of toxins in food and feed
  • Case study III: capillary chips
• 13:00 – 15:00 in room  P12 – Quantitative analysis of a microfluidic system with integrated photonic sensors – 
  • Case study IV: cell chips

The venue for the lectures is the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Trzaska cesta 25, Ljubljana. Lectures will be given in English.
