Research topics

In the frame of projects and programmes of the Laboratory of Photovoltaics and Optoelectronics I have been involved in:

• development of models for numerical analysis and optimization of optoelectronic devices
• design and optimization of advanced light-management concepts in high-efficiency solar cells
• advanced optical characterization of optoelectronic devices

Notable achievements

• development of the optical simulator CROWM (Combined Ray Optics / Wave Optics Model)
• optimization of micro-scale surface textures in organic solar cells

Awards and distinctions

• 2018 Apple of Inspiration - Award by the President of the Republic of Slovenia Borut Pahor (together with Marko Jošt, Janez Krč, Marko Topič, Steve Albrecht and Bernd Rech)
• 2017 Vidmar award for teaching assistants by Faculty of Electrical Engineering
• 2016 Certificate of recognition for young university teachers and associates by University of Ljubljana
