RTA Measurements

The UV-VIS spectrophotometer PerkinElmer Lambda 950 is employed to measure the wavelength dependent reflectance, transmittance and absorptance of samples. Measurements under different incident angles are possible in a wide spectral range of 250 – 2500 nm. By means of our advanced numerical tool, complex refractive indices of thin-film samples can be determined accurately from RTA measurements. Additionally, a two-stage X-Y measuring setup can be used to determine the local transmittance dependency by scanning a larger area of the sample with a resolution of less than 10 µm.

Total Integrating Scattering (TIS) Measurements

The UV-VIS spectrophotometer PerkinElmer Lambda 950 equipped with an integrating sphere is used to determine the light scattering properties of textured samples both in reflection and transmission. The ratio between the diffused and total reflected or transmitted light (i.e. Haze parameter) can be determined in a wide spectral range of 250 – 2500 nm.

Angular Resolved Scattering (ARS) Measurements

By means of our angular resolved scattering measurement system, the angular distribution function of the scattered light (ADF) can be determined both in reflection and transmission. Measurements under different incident angles and various light sources covering a wide spectral range (UV, VIS, IR) can be performed with an angular resolution of 1 degree.
