About the course

This course develops the ability to understand and use computer and electronic equipment in the design process of electronic systems.

The course is divided into three sections:

  1. Graphical Programming: NI LabVIEW
  2. Circuit Simulation: LT SPICE
  3. Circuit design: Altium Designer

Simulation of electronic circuits (SPICE):

  • Modelling and simulation of non-electrical phenomena.

Design of electronic circuits (Altium designer):

  • General information on tools for the design of printed circuits.
  • Organization of Altium Designer environment.
  • Rules for designing electric scheme.

  • The organization of libraries.
  • Designing printed circuit boards.
  • Placing elements and routing printed circuit boards.
  • Electrical and design rules check.
  • Automatic generation of documentation.

LabVIEW academy

LabVIEW lectures and tutorials are accredited by National Instruments as part of the NI LabVIEW Academy Program. This means that anyone who completes the course has the opportunity to take the CLAD exam for free to earn the Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer title.
